Actually, Flag

I'm really glad you posted this essay. This sounds like some fascinating reading, and I'm looking forward to checking out all the linked articles. Very cool; I never have the time to go to all these places, and I appreciate the steer and synopses.

I also find your thoughts on Romney interesting. As you may be aware, I haven't really looked closely at him. I've been more concerned with getting out the anti-Baldy message (surprise!).

One thing I will say for Mitt: my congressman, Buck McKeon, a very solid conservative (ACU 94%) really likes Mitt, and has (so far unofficially) endorsed him.

I know, like, and trust Buck, so that really says something to me.

Of course, I've been sending my money to Fred, and intend to vote for him in the primary, barring a tsunami or a picture of him having sex with a goat.

Flagwaver

After reading the past 6 or 7 issues of N.R.,it looks like my decision to renew the rag was money down the tank. Would have been better off to go play a slot machine. Good post, as I had never looked at the A.S. online before.

Brian & Clyde

Glad I could be of some service and steer you to some good sites. I always knid of liked NR, but they have become more Republican that conservative lately. And they have been shilling for Romney for a couple of years now...so it was no surprise that they would endorse him.

TAS is a good site and I enjoy hitting it from time to time. The article about Romney and his business model approach to governing may help to explain why he made some of the decisions he did as governor of Mass., and lets us se what we could be facing with a Romney presidency. And the article on Huckabee and his record on clemency was one that I had not seen anywhere else, so it was good information to have. I had been a lukewarm Huckabee guy for a whole, but that article really gave me pause.

Conservatives

There are only 2 real conservatives running for the GOP nomination: Hunter and Tancredo. I see that the Boston Globe and Des Moines Register both endorsed McLame...of course, liberals endorse a liberal.

BTW, Flag, I've come to the conclusion that Tony Romo needs to leave the girlfriends at home on gameday. When he's trying to impress one, he throws like one.

Aaaargh! Sports!

I'm breaking out in hives!

Crawfish

You're right about that...but if you're gonna have a girl throw off your game, Jessica Simpson is at least worth it!

As for McVain...who cares? Let them endorse him...losers stick together!
