We are Not "Teabaggers," We're Taxpayers!

Is that you? It doesn't sound like your normal tone but whatever good to see you.

A week before the "Tea Party" a few FOX hosts and conservatives pushing the event did call it teabagging. Liberals latched on to it. To the credit of the Tea Partiers, they stopped using that term the last 3 days or so.

I keep hearing all this talk about how bad "tax and spending" is. For me it's refreshing. We do tax and then we spend it. That's the function of taxation unlike the Bush administration which wanted to spend and then cut taxes and then spend and then cut taxes increasing our national debt to a huge degree.

President Obama is at least back on the right page, with the whole idea of taxation even if there's legitimate parts to disagree with. As far as the uprising at the ballot box, I don't see that happening any time soon. To be sure, the conservative perspective has a strong following but they are in the minority in today's political thought.
