WAKE UP! Mandated Indoctrination in California

at least 100 families to refuse this law and force the issue in the Courts.

The 9th Circuit will probably make another bad call and this will go the Supreme Court. There is no way the Supreme Court will allow this law to stand.

I've been pondering the issue, I think they want the kids back in public school. Where they (the kids) can be properly indoctrinated without interference from those pesky and meddlesome parental units

I agree, Boaz, more than the money, its the indoctrination they want.

There will be a revolt if this law stands. There are a few home schooling families at my church and they are up in arms, and all of them have contacted attorneys to fight it. Parental rights are a big issue to even many liberals

I sure hope Gray Ghost is right and the SCOTUS would slam this down.

The indoctrination of our kids and authority over them is so undermined already.

What are we becoming? Socialist Russia? Nazi Germany?

And, yes the true agenda is to indoctrinate our children to turn them into little socialist robots so that no parent will ever be able to keep their children on a conservative level.

This is the one subject that bothers me most. The indoctrination of our children. But what makes me really angry is that so many parents allow it.There are no more Public schools! They are pure socialistic indoctrination centers instituted and run by LIBERALS!! What the h#ll happen to the American people!!?? Has the majority already become so indoctrinated that they can't think for themselves any longer!?

And now the majority is trying, and may achieve putting a communistic, socialist, fascist in the highest office of government!

A whole lot of innocent children are going to suffer because of this. You out-of-staters dont have any idea how horribly mismanaged is the Foster Care System that these 'truants' are going to be subjected to. Cults, sexual predators and their fellow inmates in the group homes will give them an education in depravity and cruelty that they never imagined existed in their wildest dreams, all after they've watched their parents be arrested as criminals and child abusers. This is an assault on all of our freedom; anyone who votes for any Democrat for any reason is an accomplice to this outrage.

I can say that I agree with Schwartzenegger who called this ruling an outrage and stated that he would do all in his power to uphold parents rights to home school their children. He has been a disaster as a governor, but initially at least , he gets it and is on the right side on this issue. I have the feeling that if the state supreme court upholds this lunatic ruling, we may see legislation to overturn the old and misread rule that was used as precedent. I am not sure because this is still supposedly a state issue if this would ever go to federal court, but one way or another this must be stopped.

The local families who have their kids in home schooling - about a 1/4 of the kids in my church are considering a class action move against the issue. There is simply no way some of these parents are going to alow their kids back into public school.

Create gov't shildren, shildren who will grow to be gov't stooges, with no questions.
The next assault will have to be onother attempt at the Second Amendment - it worked for Germany, and the former USSR.

Of course the Communist Manifesto is scary. But the source of this drivel disarms it somewhat. Not too many people in the US readily ADMIT that they get their ideas part and parcel from such a document. What is REALLY scary is how well respectable, well-educated, well-spoken "intellectuals" get away with repackaging these "ideas" in cushy, feel-good, "progressive" terms that a generally contented and ignorant public will not challenge. For instance, take a swing by Richard Dawkins' website if you dare. The master himself frequently deigns to interject on the threads to pump up the "religion as child abuse" angle in the vitriol spewed out there. Not for the faint of heart.
