Terrorism and Economics

I agree with you that terrorism is a major issue for this election, but I would also say that America doesn't think so. The Bush Admin. has unfortunately tainted the view of terrorism that Americans would otherwise hold.

People want to know about economics and "fatcats" taking their money. I tend to lean the other way on economics and say that things are tough right now and it's pretty cruddy, but overall terrorism is a main issue.

I think a lot could be said for the could be president and his influence of terrorist activities. If we have a more relaxed president preaching to the masses then I think we let down our guard and something could happen.

But the president would preach in the sense that everything is ok. I think a leader has more control over their people if they convince them that everything is ok during times of turmoil. And then during quiet times rallying the forces to a stir.
