Something that bothered me about the Governor was that when this came out, everyone was up in arms. Oh my gosh selling a seat, etc.

To solve this, a special election sounded great and getting the Governor out was a must. But then the Democrats realized that they could lose the election and started to drag their feet on the Governor. I also did not feel that the issue should have turned racial as it did.

When Reid said that he wanted to discuss with Mr. Burris about what he said to the Governor, I found this hypocritical because Reid spoke to the Governor and did not want to share what he said.

From the legalities of it all, it did seem that the Governor had the legal standing to do this. I for one am glad that Mr. Burris got seated.

I think the Senator pick from Delaware was something that should have been investigated a lot more and there should have been some outrage on that choice.
