Just who is lying
HB 3200 does not cover illegal aliens...period. Because there is not a further mechanization to insure this does not negate the fact that the
president actually spoke the truth. Have you read other insurance policies?
Do they cover illegal aliens because they don't have a mechanization preventing that? Of course not. Perhaps there should be a mechanization...but that is a separate issue from whether the president was "lying". I suspect most of our congressmen and women know this, but it is so much better to stir things up and make people think the dems are pulling a fast one.
I would respect someone who said," you know, it is true that illegal aliens are not covered under this. But, I am concerned about fraud, and perhaps we should add something to solidify this." Doesn't have quite the same ring to it though as " he is a liar, trying to cover those damn illegals."

I think I made it clear that HB 3200 does not say that illegals are covered. But based on the California cases and the Democrats' repeated refusal to require proof of citizenship for coverage under the public option, it seems to me that there is reasoanble cause to suspect deceptive intent. Many federal programs are subject to fraud simply because they are so poorly written as not to disallow abuse. That is an indiputable fact. An easy way to prove that the intent is not to cover illegals. And the day after Obala/s speech and Wilson's outburst that is exactly what the senate did with their version.
