Hmmm ... I have several competing thoughts about this situation, which one to express ... ok, I think these people are using these women as some type of bargaining chips. I could be all wet, have been before.

I agree with Mrs Al re they are used as bargaining chips. The little twerp has NOTHING the rest of the world wants or needs. He needs nukes to have any sense of worth and will use the reporters to strike a deal with Obama similar to the Carter deal under Clinton which he wil totally violate again.

Very good blog, Snow! Our fears are justified for these young women. Surprisingly, China has not stepped in and told that menacing NK govt to let them go. I have no faith in Algore, he will most likely be used like Madge Albright. Our prayers go out to them and for a quick resolution to this very disturbing turn of events.
