Ever Wonder How God Feels Towards Us?

...having children can be a real eye-opener to aspects of our relationship to God, like how much it hurts you when your child disobeys you and gets hurt in the process, when if only they'd listened to you.... And how often do we do the same with God by disobeying His clear commands in Scripture....

Children are a blessing from the Lord for more reasons than one!

My three year old is currently battling us on cleaning up his toys before going to bed. We try to read from the Bible and a story to them every night. He also has his "Lamby" that he takes everywhere, and can't live without. The last couple of weeks we have been taking away those privileges if he doesn't clean. He now knows why he's not getting a story or Lamby-- he didn't clean when asked. When asked, he'll tell you why, and say the next night he'll clean. Of course... you know the rest.

I can only imagine that from God's eyes with us adults. Often, our sins are far worse than not cleaning the room, but the promise is the same... "Tomorrow I will change." Yet...

Powerful, I think, to remember that.
