Did you note that the so called debate between W and Clinton was called off. Too bad because I would love to see W just explode on as many issues and defend the USA, which he never did when he was smeared all the time. Also, Pelosi and Boxer are both trying to pass their horrors especially after the Nov. 3 elections. If, if people, Pubs all, can stop these bills from being voted upon until 2010, perhaps, the Nov. 2010 elections will pick up seats enough for conservpubs that the legislation just dies. Drop by my newest.

As for W, FinalRac, I' afeared he is the republican equivalent of a blew dog and doesn't have the desire to debate a fellow "moderate". I recall W running on this premise to get the base squared away: that no American should be afraid of their government, meaning the IRS and that the oppressive progressive tax code needed a complete overhaul. Unfortunately, once elected he gave the tax code short shrift in order to pursue big spending agenda with Ted Kennedy and company. He dusted the oppressive tax etc tax reform stuff off again for 2004, but again failed to do a thing.
Ahhh but you say what about the tax cuts. "W" was simply a smarter progressive than the rest. He realized that if you're gonna spend like a liberal, ya have to unleash the economy to pay fer it. All that high minded talk about it being "our money" was just so much political wheedle as GW did his level best to spend all the new incoming tax revenue generated by the tax cuts on some brand new and few real old bureaucracies.
Typical of "moderates", W simply wanted to have it both ways i.e. appear to be a conservative, while pursuing a left agenda. As far as the war goes, he was a classical liberal much like Joe Lieberman or John McCain, unlike John Kerry, W was for it - period.

According to their PR, blue dogs are moderates. Personally, I don't believe in moderate democrats any more than I do the tooth fairy.
Just for the sake of argument let's say that they are in fact moderate fiscally responsible types. Gramnesty tells us that we should listen to moderates like him and stop being radicals.
What happens to the RINO message, when on Saturday blue dogs will probably support Pelosi?
I think one of the reasons for the delay until Saturday is that Nanny and Stenny are still trying to work out which of the blews have to commit political suicide since they can't let them all off the hook.
This health care bill sets up 2010 and 2012 for the major issue to be repeal. Pubs had better get cracking 'cause this nightmare is going to pass.

Nothing like the blue dogs sacrificing principles, (if they have any), and voting party line, regardless of the bills popularity.
Kind of weird that progressives are taking us backwards.

The Lie Continues
Pelosi let the maximum number of Blew Dogs vote no in a vain attempt at fooling the dummies who think that there are moderate Democrats. It wont help them when the details of this monstrosity become common knowledge. There is going to be a wave of rage against the Dems by 2010.

Given the slimy lying ruthlessness of the libs I would say yes, HealthScare will pass. We'll all suffer but as we conservatives go to the hospital and lay dying in our filthy, untended beds while our relatives scrape up enough money to bribe a doctor to look at us and to buy aspirins on the black market we can smile, knowing we were right all along. We can also listen with happiness to the whines of the Obama voters as they lay in the crowded ward moaning, "That's not FAIR!"

Just as I suspected, Nanny let the max off the hook, I think only 3 got stuck for voting yes, and already our local blew dog is running TV ads touting his fiscal reliability for voting no.
That wasn't even subtle! Now Webb and Warner are twisting in the wind in the senate 'cuz they're supposed to be blew dog senators. It looks like they will try to give us this giant suppository tomorrow, or maybe in the middle of the night Saturday.
It worked for Nanny!

Its amazing! Meanwhile Barry is in China getting publicly spanked by Hu Jintao for spending too much money. How humiliating. It looks like those Dummy-craps are going to pass that monstrosity of a Health-Scare bill no matter what the Chicoms say. At least we know the Chinese dont buy that 'revenue neutral' blather.

They're all Democrats. And today's Democrat is a Marxist masquerading as a Socialist... Like there is a dime's worth of difference. They have fine tuned the strategy for staying in DC. Gerrymander districts so you come up with a district lopsided with a minority group. Promise them you will give them some of working folks wealth. Pass laws to that effect and pick out your Georgian Brownstone.
