U.S. Must Commit to Afghanistan

years down the road our troops leave. After training the Taliban as best they can, it will just end up like more of the same! The Russians showed us there is no chance to maintain victory. It is doubtful that such a poor, backward, Country will ever amount to anything. We are just throwing good money after bad. The enemy is everywhere but we ignore those other places? I suspect the war machine needs big bucks to keep the fighting marching on, to protect their livlihoods?! It's the nature of the beast, priorities amiss. A sad state of affairs!

The struggle mandates:

Radically transforming indigenous Afghan
culture.

Reducing corruption in the Afghan
government

Improving the living conditions of its
people.

The US has no business, moral authority, not to mention no $$
addressing your objectives.
