Inaugural Speech Analysis

AL

THIS is what is bothering me most right now!

A few of his past quotes...
"Words, Just Words"

"We are the ones we've been waiting for"

quotes you pulled from the inauguration speech...

regarding Muslims: 'Mutual interests, mutual respect'
WHAT part does he not get ? Muslims for the most part have NO respect for the USA There are a small number who have believed in Jesus and are God's children.

"World has changed and we must change with it"
HUH? What part of our founding documents supports THAT?

"Prepare the nation for a new age"
Wow, wonder what he means by that?

I have been concerned for many months in what I hear come from BHO's mouth. I discern and undercurrent of evil and deceit.

Didn't mean to rant, just troubled by how many people are not HEARING (discerning) what is being inflected in his words.

Keep up the excellent work AL. I left you a responding comment on my 'pain' blog

As always, God Bless!

Rant Away, Jennifer!

Great comments and I agree there is an "undercurrent." Very astute observation and I thank you.

I believe we U.S. citizens are being systematically silenced and are now viewed by the 'elite' as the enemies of government ie one-world type government.

Ok, counter rant over and thanx for your input!

God Bless, Jennifer, and I think we need to be on our knees daily.

he really did

give the impression that at this time in our history, America sux, but we have a chance to make it unsuck. We're so far down in the hole that anything He does should be seen as a giant leap forward.

You did a LOT more analysis on this than I did for my post. I just did a simple reaction to the words.

Very good of you to do this

Studies like these are not often taken on, and the the one that gets me is his definition of citizenship. To me it has the smell of rotten fruit, you know, the old fruit of Marxism and it's re-statement of feudal governance with the twist of claiming it is labor that is king, irrespective of those in power in these "socialist" to the point of "communist" regimes to assume dictatorial, tyrannic, and King-like, powers.

The reversion to a time before the existence of the United States of America, the feudal times, which regularly occurs with every single form of socialist government that is applied, seems the agenda of liberalism in fact.

Until we the people of America take a good hard look at The Unanimous Declaration of Independence it seems to me we've lost touch with the "era" of governance that preceded the existence of our republic.

This lack of memory is what liberalism exploits with its identical tenets of central government, and thereby equity for these are, as a matter of course, necessary for control of production, be it wealth or an actual item.

Al, feel free to contact me at website too http://changingwind.org

God Bless and keep up the good work :)

Thanx Crawfish

Appreciate your kind words and comments.

One of the great things about TH is that each of us brings a different set of experiences and expertise to the table.

Thanx for visiting Our Posterity and you know I will be by your place soon.

Thanx ToddyL

Indeed, the new definition of citizenship should really rattle everyone! Even I was kind of surprised to find this in the analysis.

Your comments echo my sentiments exactly (though much more eloquently than I can produce).

Thanx again for having a look-see at my ramblings and I will be visiting your site very soon.

God Bless you as well.

good post

I'm wondering how many times black was said

I'm all for a black president but this one's character and values contradict mine and many others.

He'd better step up vs. terrorists, otherwise we'll have more attacks in the future.

I wrote a blog on Bush Derangement syndrome. It seems its still running rancid and the booing showed the 'bipartisanship' of the left.

Thanx, Eric

Black, white, color = 0 occurrences

Eric, I don't care what color of skin the President has. Meaningless to me. Like you, I care about his/her character.

I appreciate you popping in and commenting. I will be visiting your blog in the near future and thanx.

Mrs. AL

The only improvement from this speech as compared with previous bloviating by Obama is that "hope" was only used 3 times instead of 30.

Ame. Sweetheart

Great catch on the compare and contrast between the analyses of the speeches!

By the way, your comment to me on your blog about "inmates" is probably more accurate.

Thanx for popping in.

I loved it! Thanx for using your

expertise to analyze all that Obee has to offer - words. I wish I could have heard the speechwriters agonizing over exact choice of words to "paint the picture" that they wanted to inject into our pitiful, mushy minds.

I really find it hard to understand how so many (otherwise discerning) voters could be so swayed by pretty words. His words paint mirages - that will surely never materialize - they never were really real - just flatuent vapor.

Thanx Garnet

For visiting Our Posterity and your kind comments.

As for voters, I have to say that emotionalism is quickly taking over our culture. How sad.

You know I will be visiting your blog again soon. You are, in slang terms, such a hoot.

AL

I wish I could you add you to my blog roll along with some others, but TH has that messed up now. I cannot change it. I will be posting some pictures of the inaug today, so you might check in an hour or two.

I agree w/Jennifer re: words, just words. It is just like his empty suit, they're empty words. As far as the World, you know that his aid to Africa is to be increased from past presidents, he even put that in his "blueprint." No wonder Kenya was so excited. I'm sure that's where the major portion will go.

He sounds more and more like Hitler, wanting to be Emperor of the world not just POTUS! Nice post!

Thanx Str8

Appreciate you stopping by and commenting on my analysis.

I will be popping over a bit later this afternoon to see what your pics look like. I know they will be interesting to say the least!

Thanx again for visiting Our Posterity.

AL Mrs. Always Learning

Great analysis on this.

I have noticed the last few days listening to talking heads, partial comments from Hollywood, etc., they all seem so happy that America is now loved by the world. Excuse me, what about the American people, don't we come first?

Once again, great blog!

Oh Sue ...

you are behind times, girl. We are 'the world' now. Borders don't count. Sovereignty does not count. Get with it! (TIC, I hope you know)

Thanx for stopping in and for the compliment. I am heading to your place after a couple stops along the way.

AL Mrs. Always Learning

I forgot. What was I thinking?
I think I hear the song, "We are the World" playing in the background! :)

Now You're With It, Sue!

Couldn't you just upchuck ...
