Psych 101
I've posted this elsewhere and I firmly believe it:
Birds of a feather flock together.
Ayers is incredibly important to Obama's character. So is Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, Tony Rezko, Penny Pritzker, Louis Farrahkhan, Khalidi, Alinksy, and the rest of the radicals he is involved in. (oh and his favorite disgusting rapper Ludacris)
People simply do not surround themselves with people whom do not share their same values and ideals. That is psychology 101 and he DEFIES it.
Who here hangs around people whom do not share their ideals? Who here would hang around with a guy that bombed buildings and could have potentially killed innocent people? I don't care if it was 40 years ago or 400 years ago. People who blow up buildings are not in their right mind. Especially when they are unrepentent!!!!
I tend to stay away from people who are psychotic.
But Obama? He sits around in their living rooms for political gain. He sits in their church pews (for over 500 surmones and he has never ONCE heard these radical views that are on sale on dvd at the church?) and then denounces them for political gain.
God help us.

I suppose that there should be a central keeper of the deleted politicians so we don't waste our time re-deleting the same buttholes over and over.

Right, A. Sweetheart
And I've often thought about a two-way street on this thing and haven't seen it mentioned. That is, of course we recognize that Obama wouldn't have continued to associate with these people if there wasn't something in it for him. But there's another aspect - why did THEY pal around with HIM? They must have had some reason for them to continue to associate with him. I think that is every bit as important as from Obama's perspective. It's a two-way street. For there to have been an ongoing relationship, there had to have been some benefit to BOTH parties.

Liberalism
flies in the face of so much of what we were raised to believe. Say what you mean, mean what you say. Read the print before you sign, it's on you. You're known by your associations. It's all wrong according to the Democratic Socialists. I just did a piece called Surviving an Obama Presidency. We should make contingency plans.

We're still defining Obama
Given the state of the economy and the unpopularity of the incumbent, Obama should be on his way to a 40 state romp and be ahead by 8-10 points in all the polls.
The reason he is not is because we don't know him, and he soft-shoe shuffles around his own past. These people are the only window we have into what makes him what he is.
McCain has to keep pushing this, right through Halloween. The fact that he is behind in the five huge swing states doesn't leave him any choice.
But the media loves a gracious loser- like Dole in '96. I'll pass on that one.

The sat fact of the matter is that less than a month from election day we shouldn't STILL be trying to figure out who our candidates are! (well...one of them!)
Shouldn't the American People and MSM PROPERLY vetted this guy back in the beginning of the primaries?
People complain about Sarah Palin being "properly vetted" but Governor Palin has a RECORD. And a decent size one. She doesn't hide who she is, who she knows, what she has done, what she believes.

I hope that it doesn't come to that. I'm not sure that I can get my mouth to actually say "President Obama" and I don't want to find out.

Screw that "gracious loser" crap, Bill
Many of us DO know who and what he is and we don't like what we see. The disturbing thing to me is that so many of the public either can't or won't see him for what he is - a snake-oil salesman. If he wins, there will be a lot of voters who will regret their vote in months or years. In the meantime, the damage will be done.

Where are Obama's friends?
I've seen a lot of Alaskans interviewed about the Palins and they (almost) all rave about Sarah and Todd as being all-around good people. Where are Obama's character wittnesses? For the most part, the only people that we know that he knew are all less-than-perfect human beings (read anti-American crooks, terrorists, Marxists, etc.). Where are all of the ordinary people that he and Michelle knew who will attest to his character? Why aren't there any?

Good Point!
Hi, Garnet! Good observation about That One and his lack of homeys. There is none. He could be a very private person and just too busy for close relationships. My husband lost his best friend three years ago and still hasn`t completely recovered. I think it`s harder for men to relate to each other. However, you do draw light upon his other associates inasmuch as it appears they were all for his political expediency instead of intimacy.

Muslim Connection with the Left
I don't think the Left even realizes they are allied with the radicals. Many deny it when I pose this as a possibility. Too much of their ideas are simply opposition to W., which is the comon thread that the two groups have.
