"Feel Good" Theory.

To the Liberal "rank and file", it just feels good to "stick" it to anyone not on welfare.

Note, that I said "welfare". I would be willing to bet that a substantial percentage of Democrat voters are on welfare. They are living on government hand-outs. Any one who isn't is bound to be making too much money.

One would think that would be the logic, but you have missed one very very important point: Most people in this world anymore are severely lacking in logic.

It is all too apparent that Obama and Biden don't understand small business one bit.

What the libs are doing is trying to oppress everyone so that we NEED them. The American people don't need the government for much. The philosophy behind our country is that everyone can change their own stars and rise up just the same as anyone else. They want to control us so badly that they want people to depend on them and then no one gets ahead but them and the people they CHOOSE to get ahead.

Substantial? thats all?

I would guess that over half their voters do not pay positive taxes. 38% of the country doesn't pay taxes, of those who could. I would doubt that even close to half of them vote republican...probably about 10% or less. So that leaves around 30% or more being democrats. If its about 50% total for democrats, that leaves 20% who aren't on paying positive taxes for them. 60%. Id say that is a pretty good guess as well. Isn't it funny though how we have that many people deciding where our country will go, while bringing it down themselves?

One day historians will look back at our country and learn lots of things not to do. The lack of logic on many of our policies is astounding.

Great comment. It is evident on the boards here everyday that liberals lack logic in many senses.

They try to attack Joe Plumber, but they forget how little a business has to make to make under 250k. To tax them is to tax nearly every business in this country. Pretty soon people will lack the motivation to start a business and then we are in a world of hurt. So Joe Plumber is one man, but there are thousands of him spread around this country feeling exactly like him. They want to get ahead and liberals will be building walls of taxes to stop them. Its the class system all over again.
