The Republicans, during the 1st four of the Bush administration, spent like Democrats! It seems that the only thing separating the 2 parties is abortion. I will not vote for an abortionist.

I am not interested in voting for an abortionist either. But the point of my post was not to cast stones at the GOP. The Party can, and will, do what it feels is best for the Party.

My point was, for those of us beginning to think that it isn't us who left the Party but the Party who left us ala Ronald Reagan and the Democrats, where do we go from here.

Conservatism has two components: Fiscal issues and Social issues. Many Conservatives are both. But it seems neither side has a place in today's GOP. My question, thus, remains - where do we go from here?

Vote for or against whomever you will. That is you doing your part. But what are you going to do about the larger picture of Conservatives having a seat at the table and a voice in the discussion?

I'm interested in your thoughts on that.
