BARACK OBAMA: THE MICHAEL JACKSON OF AMERICAN POLITICS

Hello again, Apollo. Just read your piece paralleling Obama and Michael Jackson. When I look at Obama and the level of adulation he and Jackson receive, I am reminded of the famous Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale published in 1837, "The Emperor's New Clothes". The summary of that wise tale is as follows (per Wikipedia):

"An emperor of a prosperous city who cares more about clothes than military pursuits or entertainment hires two swindlers who promise him the finest suit of clothes from the most beautiful cloth. This cloth, they tell him, is invisible to anyone who was either stupid or unfit for his position. The Emperor cannot see the (non-existent) cloth, but pretends that he can for fear of appearing stupid; his ministers do the same. When the swindlers report that the suit is finished, they dress him in mime. The Emperor then goes on a procession through the capital showing off his new "clothes". During the course of the procession, a small child cries out, "But he has nothing on!" The crowd realizes the child is telling the truth. The Emperor, however, holds his head high and continues the procession."

King Obama is wearing no clothes, but so far his powerful court and willfully blind press "ministers" are successfully selling him as the finest dressed man in the whole land (world).

Who can and will supplant Obama? I see no one on the conservative side who at this time who is articulating the American values which need restoration in a manner which will have enough force to dislodge the president in 2012. I wish I shared more of your optimism that we will all awaken from this farcical nightmare of an administration seemingly bent on weakening America in whatever ways possible. I hope that soon enough people will stand up like the child in the story and declare, "But he has nothing on!"?

168 days in office and Obama is proving to be a profoundly incompetant leader whose brain is wrongly wired for economics and foreign policy. His best day in office was his first; from there on in it was all downhill sinking into an ever deepening quagmire of failure. No president can survive into a second term the catastrophe ahead.

As I've said from the begining....Backtrack Obama is symtomatic of our trashy Hollywood culture...many of the people who voted for him were the same clueless people who vote on American Idol !...he's not a zero ..he's the minus man!...and we deserve him!!
Furthermore ,...he is like an entertainer , who thrives on aplause and is energized by it , and is flat without it !!...have you seen his tired ,vacuous look in Moscow...his nasty wife looks even worse !...they are like a pair of juveniles who are tired of their expensive toys !
It should now be clear to any thinking person , the type of weak preening poseur we have elected and his frightful wife is the most PATHETIC First Lady in modern memory...this will retard race relations for a generation or more !
Life will not "suffer fools gladly"....we , as a nation ,will be made to suffer for this utterly pathetic president !!
