Why have a Constitution at all if you are not going to follow it. There was no official Act of War declared. Someone such as yourself and GW Bush that edicts "if you are not with us, you are against us," a man who, by the way, called the Constitution a "damn piece of paper," shows you are a liberal just as sure as Bush is. "Liberal" means you interpret the Constitution to say whatever you want it to say. The only authorize Bush had originally was to defensively track down bin Laden and all those who 'directly" gave him aid and comfort. Not lie in order to go into another country and it is not our job, nor was it the founder's intent, to "spread democracy throughout the land," because WE are not a democracy at all. Bush doesn't even understand our system of government. We are a Constitutional Republic. Not democracy. You might read what George Washington, the first George, felt our foreign policy should be. You can read his farewell address online, so get a clue. Wave the flag all you want, but moving this war to Iraq who had no weapons of mass destruction without a formal declaration of war and in the process escalating and turning that region again into another powder keg just goes to show how the neocon ideology goes.....as also one who has much experience of McCain's betrayal of the returning Iraqi war veterans now whose jobs have been outsourced to the illegals he supports in Arizona, you have no clue what you are talking about.
