that the only Presidents you remember are such losers.

The magic of Reagan was that he infused the country with a sense of purpose, and optimism. He treasured and communicated our greatness as a country and time and place in history, not that all his policies were correct. Amnesty '86 was a turkey, and he later acknowledged it as the biggest mistake of his administration.

THAT'S the greatness of Reagan. Giuliani? Fuggedabouddit! McVain? Nutjob. Romney has some good qualities. Thompson comes closest.

But THAT is the key, not that someone is a reflection of Reagan policies.
