Democrats War on Friends and Allies

I’m actually not at all surprised that the Democrats are trying to undermine our military efforts in this manner. Their goals are to have us run up the white flag and pull back our troops in disgrace as ‘proof’ that there is no such thing as a “military solution” to any situation. This is the mindset of pacifists who believe it is better to offer bribes to bullies, bend over and take it rather than raise a fist in the face of any tyranny no matter how vile.

The lessons learned from appeasement efforts leading up to World War II are blindly ignored in order to hold on to their world view that any political regime no matter how fanatical can be controlled by waving promises of wealth and assistance in front of their noses like dog treats. This may work with a tame dog that has a strong desire to please but try waving a treat in front of a rabid wolf and you are more likely to lose a hand than to convince him to roll over and wait for a belly rub.

Since Democrats are unable to accomplish their ‘turn and run’ goals directly they are trying to undermine our military efforts by cutting off funding for the military and when that doesn’t work they try to alienate our allies and cut off our supply routes. They are a far more formidable threat to our military efforts than the terrorists could ever be.

I couldn't agree more. I cannot fathom why Democrats would attack our allies, especially while we are in a war and are expecting more attacks from terrorists anywhere on the globe.

With appeasement, we run the risk of being like France, caught by Hitler, but this time with no friends to turn to.
