The Trinity: a Primer for Muslims

Holy Spirit mentioned in the Quran

The Holy spirit that is mentioned in the Quran is actually referring to Angel Gabriel who was the messenger between the Prophet and God. Angel Gabriel received the words of Allah and relayed them to the prophet. These words are compiled into the Holy Quran. So, therefor, the Holy Spirit that is mentioned in the Quran is not the same Holy Spirit mentioned in the Bible.

Holy Spirit mentioned in the Quran?

Maysa, that is a disingenuous argument. Muhammad specifically identified the Angel Gabriel (at least what he believed to be that angel) when it was appropriate. In the passages I quote, the Quran clearly states "The Holy Spirit", not the Angel Gabriel. This is just word twisting by Muslims to make the quran conform to itself.

Also note that Muhammad is the ONLY prophet to whom God spoke through an angel. All others heard the word of God directly. That should give you pause for consideration. Why?
