We have the same problem here in Colorado with the Prairie Dogs. They take over every vacant field they can find and then make their way into communities. They bring the plague with them and we can do nothing about them because it would be cruel to move them from their "homes". Murder a fetus and you have rights, move a prairie dog and your evil.
