Dogs and cats

I love them both. As I just wrote on Scottie's blog I had to put my cat of 16 years down a couple of weeks ago and my heart is broken.
My dog Dakota has been with me for 7 years and he and my cat were good buddies. He is grief stricken also.
I can't say which I prefer. I like them both. Both my last cat and Dakota give/gave me so much love, I can't say which I'd pick. Cats are easier because they can go inside in the litter box. But, my dog is a really good buddy.
I was tagged also. I'm glad to see others picked up on the game. It's kind of fun.

How do you do it?

I'm stumped about the tags. Will back track to see if somebody left information on how to do it, but I'm stumped.

I'll try to clarify some

I'll try to clarify some instructions.

First, write a "Tag" blog that tells six things about yourself that people probably don't know at this site.

Next, find six more people to "Tag", and ask them to do the same.

Leave these instructions or something similar on your "Tag" blog, so the people that you tag will know how to proceed. I'm afraid I had to limit myself to four people, as so many people have already been tagged.

I will be looking forward to reading your tag blog, so let me know when it comes up, OK?

Dawn

Hi Peppermint!

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I should clarify that I have nothing against cats, and just find it easier to warm up to a puppy/dog. I get easily attached to pets, too, so, I'm sure that having to part with and longtime friend like your cat would be a difficult adjustment.

I actually don't have pets, right now. There are both pluses and minuses to that; not having a pet allows a little more freedom to get about, here and there. But, the companionship would be nice.

I hope you and your Dakota have a long time to spend together.

Yes, I agree, I've learned a lot about my friends on the blog. It is kinda fun!

Glad to Know

about your site. I will be back to read more, when I have time. Later

thanks for stopping by, here, as well. I do hope you'll come again. I just put up a new article Rainbows I Remember from my new website feature, "The Dawning".

jayhawker is from kansas, huh? yellow brick roads? ;)

Nice site

I'm much more a cat person than a dog.

Have had cats since I was young. Our latest cat is adopted since my brother passed three years ago. We had two for a while then our other [19 years old passed] and now just the one.

This Tag thing is all over and I don't think you can find six who have not been tagged.

jevica

thanks for visiting, jevica!

I should say that I have nothing against cats. I grew up on a farm and we always had cats and I adored them. As to the personality thing, though, I do prefer dogs.

I think you're right, everyone's been tagged.

Glad to see you're playing...I like your six things, think we have similar likes, though, I have to admit, I'm a cat fan...they are so funny, and have so much personality, once you experience having one, you usually can't resist having others, but of course, I know you feel the same about dogs...:)

Peppermint...I know how hard it is to let one go...I've been through it 4 times, and it never is easy...so sorry.

BTW, Dawncy, just saw Sound of Music again on TV, and enjoyed it as much as the first time. Just seems like there's so much garbage in movies these days, that I only go if they are "squeaky clean...

Nice to get to know you!

hi Sheila,

yes, I thought we had similar likes, too. Really, a lot of us at TH have much in common beyond the political side.

I love the Sound of Music, every time I watch!!!

very cool frontline pic on my website!
