It's easy to confuse arrogance with confidence at times. I particularly like the way Reagan arrogantly walked through the Normandy Memorial gravestones. Did anyone know we have to pay the French to maintain that monument to heroism. Arrogance is Clinton walking down a beach that had no rocks and suddenly coming across a pile just big enough to make a cross. Afterwards as usual, the French reporters admitted they had to find enough stones and place them at that particular spot so the cameras could get his good side and a scenic view of the beach.

Thanks for your comments. It is honestly very difficult to listen to our President discuss our arrogance over in France as though we OWE them an explanation. IMHO, the graves at Omaha Beach are all the explanation necessary. Anymore is just treading on their sacrifice.
