Beck versus Hannity

Beck v Hannity
Well, you know, O'Reilly, Hannity, Savage, Levin, Limbaugh... they're all good men with stratospheric egos. I have to agree though, Beck does come across as a real guy. I just hope he can keep it together. His emotional stress level seems dangerously high of late and while it's great to see the passion, melt downs diminish his message and may affect ratings.
To reach the numbers of people Beck would like, he's got to be concerned about ratings cause frankly I'd rather see him in O'Rielly's slot. Bill as interviewer gets tough with opening salvos but follow through is one dimensional and predictable/ He doesn't put 'em away. And the bigger the fish, Obama, Hillary, McCain, the more likely it becomes that O'Reilly's gonna practice a little catch and release.

I listen to them all and rarely do they mention one another's name, except Savage who whines about the others not supporting him after he has dogged them out for years....too funny. I take what I can from their commentary but often have to do my own homework to validate the message. If I had to pick one to listen to it would be Beck...very interesting topics and calls it like it is without towing any party line.

Hey Aftershock!
Thanks for the kind words brother. Glenn Beck is the real deal. We need to pray for his health. My latest post uncovers that as well.

I agree with you 99.9%.
That other 0.1% ?
Rush.
He, too, is the real deal. I have listened to him since his beginnings. He also gets passionate. The Brookings Institute keeps a running tally on Rush's audience numbers, and the accuracy of his content. They rank Rush as being correct 99.7% of the time, and that is over the past 13 years. Unprecedented.
I discovered Glenn Beck while browsing in B. Dalton's one night. A book with "GLENN.." on the cover caught my eye. My name is Glenn too.
I bought "An Inconvenient Book" and was an immediate fan. In my opinion, Glenn and Rush are two peas in different pods. They now frequent each other's shows, mostly by phone. Rush has never done that before. It is sure evidence that he and Glenn are of one mind.
I have read all your posts and enjoyed them all, even Ramblin' Man. I didn't get any pleasure from your situation, but appreciated your openness and loved your style. God bless you and your family.
Keep 'em comin' my friend, you can only help.
Glenn

Thanks for all your diligent reading. I cut my teeth as a conservative on Rush. Most of my political buds still don't completely understand the satire and faux pomp of Rush. But you're right. As of late, both of them are now playing to win and using each other as spring boards. Ramblin' Man was a hard post for me to put up because it is so personal. My life is real stressful. But I love my family.
