You people didn't have any trouble with Peggy Noonan when she was writing scripts for your beloved Ronald Reagan, did you?

"Shining city on the hill..." and all the other drivel he spewed came from her, not him. He just read her words.

I do not question she has some talents as a writer. She is probably better than Christopher Buckley or David Brooks.

As soon as I saw her speak, I did not like her. To use a reference these people might like, if I were married to her and she put poison in my drink, I would drink it.

These elitists tend to be good at one thing -- proofreading and sentence structure in writing. So, I do admit that they have some value (as does pretty much any person).

Most of these people ditched the Republican party a long time ago anyway.
