Iranistan

I wrote my take on this as well. This is really good news and so what if Yabba Dabba Dingbat says the US kidnapped him?

Your choices for President is off the mark, methinks.

I prefer some sort of morphed figures like Newt, Huckabee, Hunter...not keen on Rudy or Mitt...

the game

It really is good news and I'm not hearing anything from the MSM.

As far as the President hopefuls we'll just have to see. It's a little up in the air. I would have to agree with Hugh Hewitt that Newt is unelectable because of who he is. Which is not to say he is a bad person. He is a fantastic person. It's just he can say things that are not the best positive focus he would need. Also, he has made it clear that he won't decide to run until much later. I'm not going to waste precious time rooting for someone who may or may not run. I want to help those out front now, build the best possible campaign for later.

I was leery about Rudy but after hearing his basis for his thoughts and how he things the role of government should play out, I've found respect for the man. I initially started out defiant against him. He changed my mind.

Mitt has impressed me from the very beginning. Speech after speech has been right on track. I think he is a very strong and impressive candidate. He is a fantastic orator. I just got Hugh Hewitt's book "A Mormon in the White House?: 10 Things Every American Should Know About Mitt Romney". Because honestly it is something that initially concerned me.

McCain blew it a long time ago. Gang of fourteen. I won't go further.

Huckabee and Hunter I haven't heard much from so I have no personal story to add.

I think the front runners are Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, and John McCain. We need to look at these front runners and start backing the best one.

But who knows, there is much time between now and then. If someone comes along with the same views on government that closely coincide with my own then my vote will be with them. Mitt and Rudy are my front runner favorites.
