Disarming the Public

There is a reason people apply for a carry permit to begin with.That right under the second amendment is being abused by the police.I was shoked to see the report that said 75% of police officers think firearms should be illegal for Joe citizen.The oath he took to uphold the constitution meant nothing to three quarter of Americas police officers.If you think all 911 calls can be solved by a twenty minute wait for a cop to appear,probably after the perp has gone or worse.he walks into a murder or hastage scene.From my cold dead hands will i allow anyone,cop or not to take the only protection I have for me or my family,if they are in that car.I would like to bring to the attention of readers of this piece that ther has been an alarming number of people parading as cops,pulling over cars and sexually assaulting women.I echo the sentiments of the author of this article that people that have a carry permit don't win them in lotteries.They go through extensive background checks.If you have ever been to a rehab center or suicide watch situation you will be denied a permit.I would bet my three first born male children that these fireams carriers are as trained as cops,usually they have grown up around guns and know all safety rules.People nervous about guns don't carry them.I would also like to ask the cop unloading my handgun-which takes two hands-if he minds that I run him through with my knife?Unloading a handgun leaves an officer defenseless against any assault.Does that officer give a damn if my family and I are killed before I can retrieve my constitutional right to defend myself?Get the FBI stats on how many legal carry owners have opened fire on a cop while being stopped.Then look up how many cops lives have been saved because of good samaritans with guns.This is what confuses me most about the police poll.
