COLB
Help me? If BHO has a COLB from 1961, and they were not available until 1982, what's wrong with this picture? Please tell me?

Question
Excellent article. Very informative and helpful.
Just two questions:
1) When the State of Hawaii produces a computer-generated laser-printed short-form "Certification of Live Birth" (like the one that Barack Obama published on the Internet), is there anything on the "Certification of Live Birth" which indicates whether the underlying source document is hospital/doctor/midwife generated certificate, or a Delayed Certificate, or a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth?
2) Where can one find, on the Internet, the text of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii?
Thanks.

Great article
This is an extremely informative article about birth records, with emphasis on the state of Hawaii. I would like to thank the author for enlightening us with such vital information.
As I have heard, birth records are now being shared online with databases being maintained on the Internet itself. Is there any state agency portal from which we can retrieve record details? Do we need to pay anything or prove authenticity?
I know a website that provides birth details: birthdetails.com
