TEST
What all the goings on now with all the talk of bailouts will do, will be to present to the Republicans, both a test of their courage and an opportunity to lead. And if they manage to succeed on both counts, who knows, maybe just maybe we can get some of those lousy Dem's booted out. But the question remains, will Republicans have the guts?

An interesting subject that raises the
question - would any of us be willing to give up a "good" congressperson if that were the only way to fire them all? I would if all 535 were put out to pasture!

This would be a beautiful thing.
The only impediments I see to this happening are:
1). Stupid poor people. The people who believe the crooks who promise them the world, and keep handing the dirt;
2). Stupid rich people. The people who have so much money that another couple million in taxes doesn't bother them, and, after all, having a lot of money obviously proves they are smart enough to have the answers to all the world's problems;
3). Stupid middle class people. The people who keep voting party lines (typically democRat) who think the party represents the same things it did when their parents and their grandparents voted party lines for the same party; and
4). Stupid people, in general. The people who think that what politicians say and what they do are one and the same.

impediments indeed
Many times in the past few months I have commented at how, 'people have absolutely lost their heads!'
I read a poem called,'The Death of Common Sense', there's a lot of truth to that.
Self absorbtion, pop culture, apathy, and a straying away from God has really got many Amercicans in deceit mode.

Thanks for the humor. We all need to laugh right now. I could not see the entire poem because a commercial for snap shots is in the way.
You have a great blog here. I'll be back.

JENN. They're all gulag bound...
Victorious communists always imprison and "reeducate" the opposition before "eliminating" their own sidekicks. Then the loyal opposition always joins the commies as their most rabid administrators.
Gulags are defined as "reeducation camps" administered by the KGB.

Poem
Hi Jennifer.
Judging from some of the comments on your blog, it seems you have posted a poem. For some unknown reason, I can't view it, but would like to very much. Am I doing something wrong? The snapfish thing shows up for me too, but it doesn't seem large enough to cover a link of any type. Can you help?
Thanks,
John
