I'm going to have to spend more time reading your blog. I disagree with you somewhat on the FairTax, but I like the rest of what I've seen.

By the way, I enjoyed your debate on the FairTax. That's the thing that I really love about Townhall, the debate about ideas between conservatives. It's a great way to learn.

You brought up a lot of good points that I had not heard before. I have not read the book or the bill, yet, either. So I will have to now.

For now, the details don't concern me too much. I don't care, for example, if the government doesn't make as much as it does now. I think that's a good thing, in fact. But I do think that as more business are started and brought back, spending will go up, therefore gov't revenue. I don't care that some industry will struggle, where some other will boom. That's the nature of the true free market at work without being manipulated by government.

I like the idea. The idea that WE will have control over the taxes that we pay. The idea that WE will have a say, again, in our government. I just don't see that in another idea out there anymore.
