Questions for "Republicans for Obama"

Republicans?

You CANNOT be a Republican and support Obama. The two ideas are not compatible. I'd say they are nothing more than RINOs for Obama, or Me Too Republicans, and good riddance. Good post, and good blog.

RINOs

Dave, I agree with you about RINOs, but after studying Obama's positions, he's a stretch even for RINOs. Well, maybe except for some of those Northeast RINOs. (Many times politics comes down to geography. For example, our county auditor, Dusty Rhodes, a Democrat, has more in common nationally with Republicans.)

Aside from the RINOs, I think all too many of the "Republicans for Obama" are being taken in by Obama's lofty rhetoric, which is sad.

The blame game shoe is on the other foot

Regardless of who is president, I take responsibility for myself, my family, my neighborhood to make this a better world. Something the Democrats might like to try sometime.

Spot on

Well said, Brian. Too often, those of the liberal persuasion today prefer to sit and wait for the government to improve their lives, or the lives of those around them.

Living in CA, immigration was a hot issue for me. It seemed that both candidates pretty much swept it under the rug. Of course toward the end it was all about the economy. Many issues revolve and have an impact on the economy and they should have tied them all together.

Many people forget that in the debate with Hillary Clinton, Obama has said yes to driver's licenses for illegals. He also is really into opening the border. Oh wait, he was for it before he was against it. Ugh!
