Beautifully stated. Oh, and I know this wasn't the point of the article, but think of the savings in cost of government if everything was only printed in English. Not only a social cure, but an economic one as well. Well done.

Living in California, I personally would love for our Goverment to implement English Only. You can't get a job out here in many fields unless you are bilingual. Isn't that discrimination?
