This is why fascism has historically risen from socialism: The left is more than willing to impose their view upon those who disagree. After all, they regard themselves as superior intellects, so anyone who is not of a like mind is definitionally an "idiot."
In their mind, the opinions of idiots don't matter, so their propensity to produce (and defend) fascist dictators is simply ignored.
