You are right. There is a " messianic" type quality attached to him , particularly by the drive by media . I typically like to watch different outlets to see the various coverage angles out there . MSNBC is so sickeningly sweet on Obama that I cannot even watch it . And now Scott McClellan cashes in on the Bush bash sweepstakes and Russert is interviewing him this weekend. What do you want to bet that the bulldog turns tail on that one ? I have a news flash for liberal white America... supporting Obama will not erase your guilt feelings . Only God can do that and I am not holding my breath waiting for your effort to approach Him.
