Well!
I'm not sure I should even say anything, as I'm now a character in this saga. (conflict of interest alert!)
Pepp, well done! It is a great saga (though I'm a better shot than pore ole Gunny, I'm sure -- LOL).
Seriously, though, this is really good stuff, and could be a treatment for a story, either film or novel. I know of what I speak. I don't know whether or not you know my background, but I used to be in that Hollyweird biz, as an actor and a writer. This scenario has "Red Dawn" aspects, updated. It's VERY good.
In some ways, it also reminds me of King's "The Stand".
I'm eagerly awaited Part Treis.

Ah, You flatter me too much.
So you were in that biz at one time? What kinds of things did you do in Hollyweird?
I'll tell you one thing. I'm having fun with this one. It sure gets a lot of animosity out of my system. Ha! Ha!

I've never hidden my last name purposely.
It's Baker.
And the "R" doesn't stand for "Republican" -- that had never occurred to me.
It's my middle initial, and when I was signing on and creating a screen persona, I was Name-challenged.
There are even other web entires that refer to me:

Just an aside. Great stuff, Pepp.

This is great stuff, and BrianR is right in that there are updated elements of "Red Dawn" in it. I also see bits of Heinlein creeping in ("Farnham's Freehold," among others).
Still on the road at the moment, and a group of us contractors were BS'ing yesterday. We were talking about security clearance's and I mentioned that after the Supreme Anointed One's coronation there will be new questions asked:
1. Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Republican party?
2. Do you now, or have you ever posted on TownHall in defense of a conservative position?
3. Do you now, or have you ever owned a copy of the Declaration of Independance, Constitution, or Federalist Papers?
4. Can you proove negative answers

You've been busy, Pepp.
I know people talk about the chuckles that these articles bring, but, I still can't help it. There's actually more truth than comedy. The heart that is full of evil is capable of anything; the heart that promotes views that coincide with what Democrats promote basically opposes God. And your foretelling (while a bit on the wild side;) ), paints quite a picture.
Sorry I've been out of the loop. I'm still taking things pretty easy. Just a jab here and there to say hello. Hope your doing well, yourself, Peppermint.

In depth, a good piece. I can hear the chants, “Oh there’s a mistake, we’re the tolerant ones.” A hooded man says “YEA that’s the point, how tolerant?” Where was Jane? - Need cameo. Last night I heard a testimony on the radio of that former Muslim (name escapes, but his credibility was surreal) said when they plant a mosque in a country it means it belongs to them. (or will cede at some point to them).
The words would be enough to make ulti-tolerant celebs think who’s side they’re on. They’d be calling for the script, except if it just was not so intolerant, if you know what I mean.
Unless it was GW’s goon-squads pillaging towns. (Got time for a little rewrite, they’ll make it worth your while?) DC cannibalizing – now there is a thought. "It’s the law, stupid." (there’s an academy line) Awaiting the sequel. Well, I'll live it up now before the hate speech people...

I saw Laura Ingraham tonight arguing with Colmes why he was carrying water for the Iranians. He kept defending them in regards to those Brits being taken. Or at least that's what it sounded like.

I heard someone say...
...that in the average large U.S. city there is approximately a 3 day supply of food and clean water. If someone is smart enough to hoard those supplies now, they'd just be killed and have it stolen by some roving street gang in the event of some catastrophe like Pep has fictionalized here. I saw a very small glimpse of this in the Houston area when Hurricane Rita blew into town a couple years back. The local Walmart/Kroger, etc were wiped out. Shelves bare. And every thing trashed. I don't think folks realize how serious things can get if we don't get a handle on it fairly soon. There's time but we'd best stay on it.
One good thing - looks like Alberto "LaRaza" Gonzales (Mr. Big) is on his way out.

Yeah, TH has been having miserable problems. Half the time we can't get to our blogs either. Talk about frustrating. Then posts disappear all over the place. I guess it's still going on because I just finished reading a thread and I could tell that posts were gone because people would be commenting on a post prior and it wasn't there. It's been very frustrating.

I have a scenario almost as bad that involves all the problemos on TH. More of a nightmare. Suppose they and the left and illegals decide to take it over, hostage-style like Iran. Now I often wonder at all the libs posting here as it is, but it could look like a coup at some point. I’ve wondered why they don’t have nice socialist sites to post on? Then I realize government hasn’t started them, yet.
They were unprepared for the hits; sort of sounds like after-thinking. Could you plan a script like that?

Yeah, I probably could write about something like that and include it in my series.
You know I have been having paranoid thoughts too about what is going on at TH. I've seen a big influx of liberal posts lately and wonder about that.
I will tell you though that having been an IT person for many years, it is common for businesses not to plan correctly. The last place I worked my boss and I had to write up proposals outlining what we considered the growth and what the business would need for that growth. They kept turning down our requests for more servers and bigger lines.
They finally had to do it, just like we proposed because things kept crashing on us. It was like pulling teeth to get them to see what they needed for their growth.
