Does Fred want it?

Thompson is a little hard to figure out. I would like to hear a Southern Conservative take on the subject. Southern Laid back maybe something that Eastern and Northerns might not understand.

Steve Chapman had what I thought was a good article that showed all the good reasons why Thompson might be the best candidate to actually win the election. Which is most forward on my thinking, it doesn't much matter to me, any but Ron Paul I could live with. Maybe Ron Paul is just misunderstood but seems like a nut and so do his followers frankly. I can live with Rudy because even with his pro-death views, it really doesn’t matter as long as he appoints a judge with Judicial restraint which I am pretty sure he would. Romney, his religion doesn’t bother me, at least he has one. All have moderate to strong feeling on Federalism that most of us want, Thompson gets the nod on that. I suppose they will all be strong on National Defense, Thompson and Rudy get the nod there. Unless there is a dark horse out there somewhere those are pretty much the choices. So I could give a rats behind which candidate as long as he can win.
