The government is so wrapped up in itself today because FAR TOO many of us(I'm guilty as well)took our eyes off the ball.A good sign is the move in N.H. to proclaim against the Fed machine. Good post at Gunny's about it. I believe that as Otjec and his myrmidons try to assume more control over the states the backlash will be swift. With the exception of those who are trying to firmly attach to the Fed teat.

That is some big news coming from NH! I certainly hope that other states follow, as many always do with a move such as this. I would love to see Texas pass a resolution like this. The states can then simply tell the federal government that they do not think the law is constitutional, and ignore it.

Oh My God!
The thought of the State Of California possessing a military is frightening. They'd probably mirror the efforts of the Mexican military and use them to parachute into rugged remote areas and plant marijuana plantations when we werent launching punitive expeditions into neighboring states, carrying off their household goods and women.
