Yes, and while I'm sure that the

Maher movie will be playing in London as it is in Ottawa, I'd wager that you'll be missing out on this one. I know I will, it is not 'coming to a theatre' near me any time soon.

Thanks - I discovered the existence of this film today whilst listening to a Prager radio broadcast.

I really, really hope it comes to the United Liberal Kingdom.

I will then organise a work film night ... it will make a change from me having to watch lib films (Da Vinci Code, 911 etc.) with work colleagues.

I have just read 2 articles in the UK Guardian (bastion of liberal wingeing) that have rubbished American Carol:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/filmblog/2008/oct/01/1

http://www.guardian.co.uk/film/2008/sep/30/an.american.caro l

Now I don't know about you, but when I read a negative film review I expect the reviewer to have SEEN the film first.

But in neither of these articles does the liberal pundit mention a private screening.

By contrast, here's the highly respectful article in the UK Telegraph (conservative rag) on Michael Moore's film Slacker:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/30 71292/Michael-Moore-releases-Slacker-Uprising-in-tribute-to -youth.html

The contrast in tone is profound.

The left used to be a working class movement that I could respect. Humble people, looking after their own interests (almost like a collective conservative movement)

Now it's just a bunch of libs with nothing to teach me. Nothing whatsoever.
