Shortly after 9/11 I went in to a store and a young lady was sitting at a table (high school volunteer) with a large jar and signs that it was for donations for the victims of 9/11 families.

We were talking an a very rude man pushed me out of the way in his long white dress and demanded the girl tell him where the donations for the brave heros that flew the planes in to the buildings was. By this time she was in tears. I stepped between the table and him. I told the young lady to take the jar and go to the customer service desk. I told him to check the rug store around the corner and maybe they had one. He said I could not talk to him like that and that he could strike me down and no one could do anything to him. He drew his arm back and I told him if he brought it down it would come back a nub. As he was bringing it down a hand grabbed it from behind. He turned around and was facing 2 firemen. He had not seen them coming in and I did. The doors opened and 4 more came in. By this time there were also a bunch of plaid shirts standing there too.

He said that they could not touch him and it was his right to show me my place. The firemen told him that maybe in his country but not ours. The manager came up and told him his place was on the sidewalk and never come into the store again. He was escorted out.

The girl ran over and was telling everyone how scared she was that I was there. They told her not to worry that they thought I could have taken him. But they had someone there everyday while the donation tables were there.

It wasn't much but it made my day.

I read this last night on one of the news blogs, I think CNS. There is a college right outside of Boston. If I can find where I put the link I will post it for you.

They have a co-op there so the students and get their supplies and some food cheaper. A co-ed went in to get some food supplies and when she went to check out the cashier told her she would not check her out because the girl's shirt offended her. That she was insulted. The girl had on a tee shirt that said "I am an American" with little flags and stars on it. The checker raised such a stink the manager came over to find out what was wrong. The cashier told him she was insulted by the girl's shirt and would not check her out. After some back and forths the girl was made to apologize to the cashier??? OR lose her right to shop there.

I'm not at all easy with all of the things going on and have a real bad feeling about it. Some CAIR rep was on O'Reilly last week and Bill said I don't remember all of this before the Iman's airport stunt. That there had been muslims in this country for a long time and why are all of these things coming out now? The rep told him because they didn't have anyone to speak for them until now. If that's the case then advise them that if they want to stay in this country, asimulate. They all think they have a right to our country. Why? They don't get these things in their countries. They would be killed. They would never act this way to begin with because they know what would happen.
