Bring Back The Fairness Doctrine!

The "fairness doctrine" isn't about fairness, it is about regulating one and ONLY one medium, talk radio.

Newspapers will still slant liberal, they'll just do CYOA with conservative columnists in Opinion.

Ditto with the MSM. Even though they give to Democrats by a factor of 9 to 1, they will claim they are already balanced.

Even though talk radio allows all callers of all stripes in, you'd be amazed how that "doesn't count" by liberal Senators and MSM types. Chances are they will reduce talk radio to an endless string of Hannity & Colmes style shows where a lot of yelling goes on and neither host nor viewer has any fun. This will lead to a drop in ratings, which is exactly what liberals, unable to attract an audience because you can smell thier arrogance and hypocrisy in thier rants from a mile away, want. If you can't beat 'em, legislate them out of the way.

Not one of these fairness doctrine opponents have made a peep about anything other than Talk Radio. You know they'll only instill "fairness" there because it is the only medium they can't donimate.
