Hope you don't mind me using your initials; and I totally agree. Your use of the line from "Love Story" fits well with your article.

In engineering we have a saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it. But too many people in this country believe the country and Constitution are "broke". (I don't.)

Change for "change's sake" is NEVER a good idea. But many people are so discouraged with their lives here in the US that they must have "change". And Obama promises "change".

Some people believe him. This I don't understand. Perhaps they are naive. Perhaps they are un-educated.

But personally I believe that they are "friggin idiots".
