I'd have put THE GIANT BEHEMOTH on the list somewhere. With a London rampage animated by Willis O'brien (who did THE LOST WORLD and KING KONG), this monster was not only big...it was also radioactive! It could kill you even from a distance! Another plus, no shoe-horned love interest. Dead serious throughout!

movie title I know only because I read the book.
