As Catholics it is our obligation to inform our conscience for the vital task of exercising our "Faithful Citizenship". Creed of Life, not the destruction of the innocent? Candidate Obama's voting record on the issue of life is part of the public record - and the unblemished lives of our littlest borthers and sisters are the losers. Should the Creed celebrate a Candidate who has a 100 percent pro-abortion rating from NARAL, supports partial-birth abortion, supports tax dollars for abortion, voted against notifying parents of minors’ abortions. Or maybe just protecting a child once it’s born and outside the womb (failed abortion) -- the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act. - Candidate Obama voted against that as well. The Catholic Church teaches; Life of the innocent, is the most basic issue and must be given priority over the issues of the economy or political philosophy…. "Faithful Citizenship" requires an informed conscience…. Vivat Jesus!
