it's all he knows how to do
I live in downtown Chicago and am fully aware of his connections, his lack of achievements and the way he actually got his senate seat. In Chicago, our politicians have created a scenario where they are totally insulated from reproach because they are able to "hold the goods" on those with questions. The country is now seeing the ultimate in Chicago politics.
As far as taking the credit, he is running scared and because the momentum is behind him (as of today), he can get away with making those statements. But I am not so sure the Average American is going to buy them. His worst enemies today are Pelosi, Reid, etc. They are going to go down for this in the public's mind and they have been bolstering BO for this all along. This election is a referendum on Obama, the congress and the left-wing media. When it all shakes out, the groundswell will be in McCain's favor.
In Chicago, there is waning support for Obama. It is actually quite interesting to see it play out.

Thanks for stopping by. I think some of Obama's support is waning overall. The thing I am worried about is McCain seems to have gone passive and undecided again. This was the question when he named Palin and they got increased enthusiaism, can he keep it up.
