American liberty died in 2003 with the invasion of Iraq. Yesterday was just a huge leap forward toward reclaiming it. Chris, I respect your pledge to run for office on your beliefs. Hint -- lose the Roman Emperor role model. We just stabbed that one on the Senate stairs again.

I never said the Roman Emperor was a role model, just that the words can be inspiration to act rather sit and complain.

As for Iraq, you have your opinion and I have mine. Mine is that if George Bush Sr had removed Saddam Hussein in the Persian Gulf War (as a term of his surrender) going there in 2003 may not have been an issue.
