The Razor Sharp Edge

As AmeriSis, I try very hard to stay safely out of politics -- hard and fast rule at my house -- no political discussions! Saves me from having to knock people around! :) However, especially as Veterans Day is approaching, I would like to remind AmeriDan of something -- many, many died and many more fought and were wounded or even came home safely, so he and I could post our opinions. I talked to a veteran one time and he told me that he bled and his friends died so that if someone wanted to burn the American flag they could. Democracy is a two or more party system. Not a single one of them is right about everything. I am an intensely patriotic American. I am also a Democrat. Both my brothers served in the Navy to ensure that right. A cousin died 10 years after Vietnam from Agent Orange to ensure that right. I am very proud to be an American and a Democrat. I'm also proud that y'all can be Republicans and proud. I don't mind if you believe something else, as long as you belive in America first!

Now if you can get the paifully large number of "democrats" who hate the President so much that their position is (by default)
anything that is bad for Bush is good. We'll have a better chance of surviving as a Country.

There are ten's of millions of people out there that want to kill us. It's their day job, their night job, their hobby, and yes- their religion.

Do I think some loon burning a flag is going to get us killed? Of course not. I'd walk right on by and pay them no more attention then I'd give to someone shouting "BOOOOSH LIED PEOPLE DIED".

The problem, and it is a deadly one, is a media that searches high and low for these very same people- and gives their voice a microphone that is heard worldwide. Without ever sticking that mic in my face for a counter point.

Day in and day out, that gives aid and confort and even encouragement to the very people who insist upon our death or submission to Islam.

A shocking number of people are going along with this. They're even piling on and helping in everyway they can. They are the present day Democratic party.

Do I think Nancy, Harry, Howard, Jon and that bunch want this country taken over by IslamicFascist? Again, of course not, but they are playing with fire to burn President Bush. Playing with fire in an old growth forest during a dry spell.

AmeriSis, you are not a part of the Democratic party that I speak of here. In fact, you are a beautiful bright shining excample of what the Democratic party use to be.

If only there where more Democrats like you.. We would be even more hated by the world- but only out of envy- they wouldn't dare try for another September 11th.

So when I say dims, or libs, or the media; which is pretty much the same thing these days. I'm no more talking about you then I would be about Harry Truman.
