Just saying hello

Found your comment of Sowell's post today and thought I would check out your blog. I need to sign up for his articles.

We live in rural Maine so getting books can be a problem, libraries are a joke and even the book stores can be rather sparse except for smut. But they do have books by mail as part of the State network of libraries, we are very creative here in Maine, well any way, I have CTs book coming but I think I am second or third in line. Reading Laura Ingraham’s book, she is a smart lady , a clear thinker and a good writer, who could ask for anything more, oh yes and I agree with her.

I didn't see all of the hearing, but what I saw was as described a modern day lynching and not because he was black but because he was too conservative and would be restrained in his decisions as our founding fathers meant it to be. I did read Sandra Day O’Connor’s book “The majesty of the law” where she wears Judicial activism as a badge, I don’t think it was what Ronald Reagan had in mind when he appointed her, I wonder how that happens? Then GB41 somehow made the right decision and appointed CT to replace the very liberal Marshall, I guess the system works sometimes, if your lucky. Thankfully there was a Clarence Thomas available, because I am sure the selection had as much to do with racial equality as it did Judicial restraint. I am as far as you can get from an expert on the Supreme Court or any court for that matter, but I do know that the activism by these elite liberal Judges having no restraint at all and acting like political law makers has hurt our country is a very big way. One of the biggest responsibilities for our new President would be Jurist selection. Thankfully some of the true Judges are pretty young.

In any event, just wanted to say hello.

Thanks,
Barry
