sold out
We've been sold out, that's what's happened. The President has abrogated his oath and Congress has refused to ensure that the laws they passed have been enforced. The Dept. of Homeland Security is more interested in locking up Border Patrol than drug runners.
This grand experiment of government of the people, by the people, for the people is being usurped by government of the corporations, by the corporations, for the corporations.
The primary responsibility of the U.S. government is to protect the territorial integrity and people of this country. They have completely abdicated this responsibility. Both parties have been complicit in this. We are being told it is not possible to control our borders, enforce our laws, and thereby control our destiny as a nation. Hogwash. We are being sold out by corporations intent on importing workers for jobs that can't be exported with the taxpayers paying the true costs, financial and human. If we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat.

what can we say?
first of all let me qualify what i am about to say with this statement; i am a republican, i support our president when it comes to the war in iraq, i support him when it comes to tax cuts, i voted for him and i believe he is doing many things right so i guess i am saying-i support him in many ways. now having said that when it comes to immigration and our borders that is an area that i do not believe he is right on and i must profess my lack of support for his "shamnesty" policy. whether he has "sold out" our country or not is a matter of debate, but i do know this if we bother to look at the current g.o.p. there are many that would love to see more illegals come pouring in simply for their vote. yes, they are not concerned about our constitution and whether the rights given there are applied to illegal immigrants, nor are they concerned about the legal issues of a political race, they are only concerned about the outcome (just take a look at the results of our last gubenatorial election in washington state). all they want is to be in political offices so they can have the "power' to enact their "social reforms". i agree with sold out above, "if we act like sheep and don't stop the inundation across our borders, we will lose our country without a bleat." so my question is what can we do and what can we say?
