...during the present Bush administration is that the "new tone" method of politics will not work in Washington D.C. It worked in Texas for him and he, wrongly, assumed he could take that tool to the Beltway. The DC democrats and the MSM have chewed him up and spit him out. I feel for the guy. I don't know how it worked in Texas but I totally agree that it does not work with the national crowd and with the national media. We need REAL conservatives not just conservatives that say they are.

Sorry to disapoint you but I have noticed that it is useless to TALK to real liberals. And they are not patriotic as you say. I never liked Bill Clinton but as long as he was president of the US he deserved the respect of the office. LIBERALS DON'T give George Bush that respect AT ALL.
