The Anti-Americanism of the Modern American Left

How hateful and disrespectful. Just because we disagree on tactics doesn't make anyone unAmerican. The Democratic Party is 2-3x larger than the Republican Party, but we don't worry about that. There is just more of us and we refect the American public in a more realistic manner. Also, democrats have much better attitudes toward women than repubs. We also don't call our opponents unAmerican for disagreeing with us. Just a little confused sometimes, but not treason-inducing.
Most of the democrats I know are not chickenhawks [you know, get chicken when its their time to go to war; but, hawkish when its someone else's kid or the neightbor down the street]. I can't say that for anyone in the current administration. Even my 32 year veteran of the USN and 3 tours of duty in Iraq doesn't have much good to say about what is going on. I think the poster of this piece doesn't know many people on the left and if he does, he isn't listening or seeing or hearing all the misery around him. When we had Bill Clinton in the WH, we essentially had 8 years of peace and prosperity and a hugh financial surplus to boot; which is now all gone. I think you are sad and sadly mistaken if you think badmouthing those who disagree with you is going to change minds. The last 7 1/2 years of increasing misery with Dubya overrides anything you have to say.
