Cancel your paper

Re; Cancel Your Paper.
Good post. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (aka the Daily Worker) is one of the most partisan papers in the country. Virtually every paper in the country has at least one relatively Conservative columinist (even as a token). Not the Post. Its editorial page is a daily commercial for the DNC, the Missouri Democrats, and the single-party rule that infests the basket case known as the City of St. Louis. During Governor Matt Blunt's four years in office, the Post has skewered him on an almost daily basis, which no doubt went a long way in diminishing his ability to run for reelection, something he opted not to do. I always wondered how much such the Democrats are able to save in advertising costs by having papers like the Post (unfortunately the only daily in town) in their hip pocket. I liken it to the old Pravda during the days of the USSR.

In the tradition of peaceful protest!
I also no longer take a newspaper and cancelled subscriptions to Time and Newsweek. I very much resent a news source filtering the information it provides to me according to its political agenda, and I certainly am not going to pay them for it.
In addition, like you I no longer attend the movies of nor watch the television shows of those Hollywood figures who use their positions to engender hate against conservative candidates, and by extention against Americans who have conservative values. They need to realize that it is criminally stupid to bite the hand of anyone in their audience.
Some prime examples that spring to mind are Sandra Bernhard saying that if Palin came to New York she would be “gang raped” by Bernhard’s African-American male friends and Madonna's famous rant: “I'm gonna kick her a** if she don't get off of my street!”
